Marks & Spencer
After a quiet Christmas season M&S have announced that it’s shares have dropped 21%, another indication that there is a real down turn in our economy. They are not the only big retailer to be suffering, Next and Debenham’s have also experienced a drop in share prices.
At Logopro, over the years we have noticed that when the economy looks a bit dodgy, people feel less inclined to set up a new business. Having taken the plunge, one of the areas that sometimes suffer is branding and marketing, it is hard to estimate the real financial benefit of a good image when you are more concerned with getting the business off the ground. Starting a new business requires time and commitment, business planning, sorting out finance and marketing, all important elements.
Whether you need a company logo designed or a complete corporate identity, the quality of design is crucial. Consider your graphic design needs from the start. Logo and stationery design will give your new enterprise a firm footing, will encourage others to take you seriously – but rush the process and you could end up stuck with a poor quality logo for years to come.
