Logo Design ~ The Process
Few appreciate the work involved in producing a professional logo design which defines the business or product, looks good, stands the test of time and is what the client wants.
After reading our clients brief – we look at the clients website if they have one. We look at the competition and businesses in a similar category. We let the research and imagination wonder at will.
We take time to let the logo name and clients requirements percolate through, ideas seem to work on a subconscious level.
We think of keyword and images, making rough sketches to refer back to.
We work through the various ideas, producing roughs on the computer that also show a range of styles, colours, fonts. Finally we decide on 6 most suitable concepts to send to our client.
Once a concept has been chosen, we develop the logo. This is a crucial stage, one where an idea can become something really special, directed by our client and adding our own finesse. We refine the chosen design until our client is completely happy with the finished design.
