Logopro is a logo design company

resources which is why we are working towards 'The
Green Dragon Environmental Standard' award and the reason why we have

Logopro accepts an obligation to comply with all relevant legislation and reduce its impact upon the environment. Our long-term aim is to minimise our use of non-renewable resources, while providing a high-quality design service to our customers.
In recognition of this, we have implemented an environmental management system, which focuses on:
Ensuring we are fully committed to environmental
improvement in all aspects of our logo design business and continually
monitor our performance.
Renewable energy is our ONLY form of energy.
Minimising usage of electricity by using 'Stand
by' on all computers and switching all electrical items off when not in
use.
Minimising waste by recycling as many waste materials as possible.
Ensuring that we remain a socially responsible
organisation, being fully committed to preventing pollution and waste.
To continue to encourage our clients to do likewise and to use recycled
material for their printed items when appropriate.
Developing an ethical policy that considers
all aspects of environmental performance and social responsibility measures.
Wherever possible we use suppliers who are environmentally aware and who
have environmental standards in place.
Maximise purchasing efficiencies, thereby reducing transport journeys and using efficient vehicles, therefore decreasing our contribution to the carbon footprint.
Maximising efficient use of natural resources and preventing pollution.
Regular reviews are carried out to ensure the environmental management system remains effective. We aim to continuously improve our environmental performance through the support and involvement of our employees and any other interested parties.
THE GREEN DRAGON AWARD
In 2007 Logopro applied for 'The
Green Dragon Award'. To obtain this award our logo
design business has developed an environmental policy that states
that we are fully committed to environmental improvement in all aspects
of our logo design business.
Here is a list of some of the things we do to try and stay 'Green':
WE RECYCLE all our paper, by re-using it in the
design studio and/or by sorting our waste for collection by our dustmen.
WE SAVE WATER & ELECTRICITY by filling
our kettle with as much water as we need for each cup of tea, we have
a kettle that tells us how much water we need for every cup! Imagine all
the power businesses could save if we all did this.
WE ENCOURAGE our clients to print their new stationery on recycled paper wherever possible.
WE EMAIL our clients instead of visiting
them. Not only does this save our time and our clients time, it also reduces
the use of our cars and logopro's pollution level.
WE DON'T PRINT OUR EMAILS and encourage our clients
to follow suit by including a green message on all our emails saying 'Think
before you print'.
WE 'SWITCH OFF' all our computers and electrical
items at the end of each day and use 'STAND BY' on all computers during
the day for periods when they are not in use.
WE USE FUEL EFFICIENT VEHICLES for days where
travelling cannot be avoided. Smaller vehicles are far more efficient
and have a lesser impact on our environment.
WE REVIEW OUR SUPPLIERS and try to use ones
that employ similar green standards to Logopro.
WE USE ENERGY SAVING LIGHTBULBS in our studio.
WE TRY TO STOP JUNK MAIL being sent to us
through the post. It wastes paper, especially if the service being offered
is of no interest to you.

In 2007 Logopro decided that the only way to be sure to reduce our contribution
to global warming was to ensure that all our power came from renewable
energy. So we switched- to 'Good

By using 'Good Energy' we know that all our power has come from the power
of the wind, flowing water, the sun and the sea. It has certainly helped
to clear our conscience and means that you can have your logo designed
