Stage 1

Our client already had a strong image for their company, they wanted to add a distinctive brand to their best selling products. The brief was

'PELAGIC - a range of water based environmentally friendly hydraulic fluids used on offshore oil and gas fields.

LOGO/IMPORTANT INFO: environment, oil and gas hydraulic fluids, oil rigs, oil drums'

They stressed that it was important the logo design would translate well onto designer shirts and jackets.

Stage 2

Our logo designers worked on images around oil drums, drops of oil or hydraulic fluid, sea, earth, deep sea, origins of oil. None of the first six designs appealed to our client and we offered to work on some new designs based on comments made on the initial designs. Also we were inspired at this stage by our client telling us that pelagic means deep sea fish or deep sea fishing.

Final Files

Now very happy with one of the designs, we promptly sent a set of final files to our client via email. They are so pleased with our service, they have commissioned more logo designs including a revamp of their corporate logo to give it a stonger impact.
