Inspirational thought for logo designers
Being in a creative profession, graphic designers can become bogged down by the 9 to 5 routine, a time frame more suited to less emotional occupations. The image of tortured artist only really applies to fine artists but there are times when we are presented with a brief that presents a great white blank canvas in the mind. At times like these what is required is hard work to try and understand the product or business, coming at it from different angles to get a new view. Inevitably there will be something that ignites a spark of an idea or ideas. From that first moment of anguish to the excitement of bringing to light a concept that will inspire the client and their customers is what makes the art of logo design a career that is both exhilarating and rewarding.
In short, the art of creating a good logo design is not something that happens in a moment - it is a process.
